Milton High School proudly presents the Broadway musical comedy “HAIRSPRAY” based on the New Line Cinema film written and directed by John Waters.

A cast of 60 Milton High students will dance and sing through the 1960s- era comedy. HAIRSPRAY is a family-friendly musical full of laughter, romance, and great tunes.  Set in Baltimore in 1962, teen Tracy Turnblad has one passion – to dance on the popular Corny Collins Show. When her dream comes true, Tracy goes from social outcast to sudden star. She aims to use her newfound power to integrate a TV network, dethrone the reigning Teen Queen, and win the affections of a local heartthrob, all without damaging her hair’do!
