‘Twas the night before school starts, and all through the town
The excitement was rising, it could not simmer down.

School starts tomorrow, ready or not!
So, this is it! Tomorrow morning, we kick of the 2017-18 school year! I have a strong feeling that this year is going to be incredible. I know that all our families are busy getting ready for the big day, but I wanted to send a quick E-Blast to let you know about a few things:
* Our fabulous Glover principal, Karen McDavitt, created an amazing “Back to School” video for us to enjoy.
* I met with the entire MPS staff on Monday to review the “health” of the district and to get everyone motivated and excited for the start of the year. Please click here to view this presentation. Thanks to MPS Data Specialist Vy Vu, MPS parent David Taugher and Communication Specialist Moira Downes, all of whom worked with me to create this year’s back-to-school presentation.
*Please note, bus routes were updated on www.miltonps.org as of 4:10 this afternoon. I would like to thank all of our staff members who work year-round for their efforts this summer, but I would especially like to thank Transportation Director Jane Barrett and Dr. Glenn Pavlicek for their attention to our bus routes and other transportation issues.
* For those of you who need nuts-and-bolts information about start times, bus routes, etc., please refer to my E-blast of August 25th or August 17th, both of which have plenty of back-to-school details. In addition, the homepage for the Milton Public Schools has a wealth of information.
